Thankfully, there are a number of trusted groups in Wyoming that put out election guides that rank candidates for Congress, governor, the Legislature, and other offices based on their records on specific issues.
Take a look below at a roundup of guides from issue-specific organizations that rate candidates according to how they stand and make endorsements.
There are also several excellent voting guides that simply ask candidates questions and let them answer for themselves. You can find a roundup of that type of candidate guide at Better Wyoming.
PUBLIC LANDS
The new Protect Wyoming PAC put together a voting guide based on where candidates stand on public lands and wildlife.

MENTAL HEALTH
These aren’t candidate guides, exactly. Instead, they’re scorecards from the Wyoming Behavioral Health Alliance that show whether current legislators support policies that would improve mental healthcare in Wyoming.

PUBLIC EDUCATION
The Wyoming Education Association has maintained legislator scorecards based on voting records for years.
They offer a ‘lifetime score’ for all sitting House and Senate members, as well as voting records.

COMMONSENSE REPUBLICANS
This new group is not a single-issue organization, unless you consider “common sense” an issue (which we do).
2026 Voter Guide for the Republican Primaries
Based out of Casper, the Common Sense Republicans provide recommendations for statewide office and select legislative races across the state.

And, of course, the Freedom Caucus has become an issue in and of itself.
